PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split stator which suppresses the formation of cracks on corners of a resin insulator. SOLUTION: According to the split stator 2, an edgewise coil 13 is set on a tooth portion 11a of a split core 11 via the resin insulator 12, and the insulator 12 and the coil 13 are covered with a mold resin 14. The coil 13 includes a wire rod 13a wound so that turns of the wire rod 13a are separated from each other to suppress the shrinkage of the mold resin 14 near the corners of the insulator 12. The coil 13 wound in this manner forms gaps 15 between turns of the wire rod 13a, where the gaps 15 are filled with part of the mold resin 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
