A method for realizing direction identification of optical finger navigation (OFN) is provided. The method includes: dividing a plane into four areas by two non-vertical non-parallel straight lines passing through a coordinate original point; collecting data points of fingers during the finger sliding on the OFN, and reporting the collected data points; judging the area where the displacement vector produced by sliding is located, and obtaining a displacement directional key based on the area of the displacement vector, identifying an OFN direction. A mobile terminal for realizing direction identification of OFN is also provided. |
