A method for acquiring mobility related information of equipment is disclosed by the present invention, which is used for acquiring the mobility related information of Machine Type Communication (MTC) equipment. The method includes: the MTC equipment reports its mobility related information to an access network; or, the access network acquires the mobility related information of the MTC equipment from the core network or MTC server which stores the mobility related information of MTC equipments. A method for optimizing the configuration of the MTC equipment, an MTC equipment and an access network equipment are also disclosed by the present invention. By the present invention, the access network can acquire the mobility related information of MTC equipments, thus enabling the configuration optimization such as reducing unnecessary measurement and mobility management, etc. |
