The tool has a base tool part (100) comprising a stem (110) and a bowl-shaped area (150) that is connected to the stem. A slider is displaceably arranged at the base tool part and comprises a slider stem and a slider plate. A guide device (160) is arranged at a base tool handle, where the guide device and the slider are decorated such that movement of the slider is carried out with a translatory component and a rotatory component in a plane by sections simultaneously. The base tool part is designed as a spoon i.e. tea spoon, or a fork i.e. cake fork. An independent claim is also included for a method for feeding a person or an animal with a food intake tool.
