The vehicle lighting device has a reflector (10) with a semiconductor light source (18). The semiconductor light source, its arrangement relative to the reflector and the reflector are established to generate a light distribution required for a light function. Another semiconductor light source (20) arranged in the reflector is established to generate light of another light function. The reflector has a recess (22) for receiving the former semiconductor light source and another recess (24) for receiving the latter semiconductor light source. The two sources merge with each other.
