The device (20) has a foam impact strip (30) i.e. one-piece impact plate, adjustable between a spot position and a diffuse position, where the foam impact strip is arranged before a front end of an air guiding unit (22) in the diffuse position. The foam impact strip is partially located within an air duct and partially behind the front end of the air guiding unit in the spot position. The air guiding unit comprises a set of pivotable horizontal fins (24) for directional adjustment of air flow, where the fins are arranged parallel to each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting air flow emerging from an air-outlet nozzle at an end of air duct into a vehicle interior.
