<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery using an electrode group for secondary battery in which breaking or the like of electrode plates is suppressed by alleviating a stress added during the formation of the electrode group or a stress accompanying expansion and contraction of the electrode plates at charge and discharge, and which has a light weight, high reliability, and safety. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode group 4 is constructed by winding a positive electrode plate 14 having positive electrode mixture layers 12a, 12b formed on a positive electrode current collector 11 and a negative electrode plate 24 having negative electrode mixture layers 22a, 22b formed on a negative electrode current collector 21 through a separator layer 31 containing a polymer electrolyte. At least one of the electrode plates of the positive electrode plate 14 and the negative electrode plate 24 has non-coated portions 13a, 13b, 23a, 23b in which the mixture layers 12a, 12b, 22a, 22b are not formed on the current collectors 11, 21 in a curved portion at the end part in long diameter direction of the electrode group 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
