<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program and a server device, for providing an online game capable of reducing the time needed for downloading a game program to a terminal device used by a non-registered user. <P>SOLUTION: The server device 1 provides a game space in which player characters respectively operated by a plurality of players respectively using a plurality of PCs 2 participate. When receiving a request to participate in the game space from one PC 2, the server device 1 determines whether the player using the PC 2 is a registered user. When determining that the player is not the registered user, that is to say, the player is a non-registered user, the server device 1 generates a simple game program of a small data capacity for sharing the game space provided by the server device 1 and transmits it to the PC 2 used by the non-registered user.
