<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case for a vehicle capable of stabilizing sealing performance necessary for a battery case by maintaining a contact surface pressure irrespective of deformation and unevenness of a shape of a sealing part of a cover member and a tray member. <P>SOLUTION: The battery case for a vehicle comprises holding members (28, 29) for holding in a state of a tray side peripheral part (32) and a cover side peripheral part (36) being overlapped. On one of the tray side peripheral part and the cover side peripheral part, there is formed a groove part (50) continuously along a peripheral direction, and on the other of the tray side peripheral part and the cover side peripheral part, there is formed a protruded part (42) arranged upright continuously along the peripheral direction and capable of engaged the groove part, and, furthermore, an elastic member (46) is arranged between the protruded part and the groove part. At least one of the protruded part and the elastic member is formed wider in a cross-section toward a base end from a tip end side of the protruded part in a cross-sectional view perpendicular to the continuous direction of the protruded part, so that a groove part side surface of the elastic member may contact with an inner wall of the groove part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
