<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus, which can suppress curl of a recording medium and which can prevent occurrence of a jam. <P>SOLUTION: As a body controlling section controls a pressure to be applied to a fixing nip section 27 so as to be weaker when a sheet member 6a does not pass through a decurling mechanism than a case where the sheet member 6a passes through the decurling mechanism by rotating a cam 42, it is possible to suppress the curl of the sheet member 6a and prevent occurrence of the jam when the curl of the sheet member 6a cannot be corrected by the decurling mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
