PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in positional accuracy between a lens and an imaging element and reduction in resolution, which may be generated due to a difference of thermal expansion between a supporting member and a lens holder. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a lens 2, a lens holder 3 for holding the lens 2, a frame 5 including a cylindrical outer holder 4 for storing the lens 2 through the lens holder 3, an imaging element 7 having the lens 2 on a position separated by a predetermined distance and including a light receiving part on a center part, a supporting member 6 attached to the object side upper part of the outer holder 4 and the frame 5 to support the outer holder 4 elastically in an optical axis direction, and an actuator 12 for actuating the lens holder 3 and the outer holder 4 in the optical axis direction. The supporting member 6 is fixed at least on the lens holder 3 and constituted so that the fixed part is deformed in an expanding/contracting direction due to a thermal expansion coefficient difference between materials of the supporting member 6 and the lens holder 3.
