PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient illumination for a plurality of places of a panel from its rear side, while suppressing upsizing and weight increase of an entire panel illuminating device. SOLUTION: The panel illuminating device 12, for illuminating a plurality of illumination object parts 18A to 18C set on the panel 10 from the rear side, is provided with a circuit board 20, illumination light sources 22 mounted on a fewer sites than the illumination objects on a surface-side face 20a facing a panel side of the circuit board, and a rubber sheet 24 laid on the surface-side face 20a of the circuit board 20. The rubber sheet 24 includes reflecting faces 34a, 34b, 36a for reflecting light emitted from the illumination light sources 22 so as to guide it to the illumination object parts 18A to 18C.
