The member (1) has seal surfaces resting against adjacent components of a vehicle body, where the member is made of polyethylene. The member is arranged in a clearance (F) between an A-pillar (3) of the vehicle body and a wheel housing (4) or a wing (8). A wing fixing support and the wing are sealingly pushed away at a longitudinal beam. A detent is provided at an underside of a rectangular high-rising up sealing portion and engages into an aperture (5) in a horizontal flange of the longitudinal beam.
