The invention relates to pliers for establishing a sliding-sleeve connection. The pliers comprise two jaws (01, 02) that can be moved toward each other for holding pipe parts to be connected, wherein a first jaw (01) is supported in a fixed plier part (03) and a second jaw (02) is arranged on a guide pin (06) that can be moved axially in the fixed plier part (03).
