<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for inkjet recording, which can form plastic recorded matter excellent in adhesiveness and water resistance on a recording medium whose surface to be recorded is a plastic film. <P>SOLUTION: This ink composition is for an inkjet recording medium whose surface to be recorded is a plastic film, and contains at least a cyclic amide compound of formula (1), a thermoplastic resin, a colorant and a main solvent, where the thermoplastic resin is dispersed in the ink composition.
