<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for providing a DRM license. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes a sink system which requests a license for a content, a source system which generates and provides a first right token including binding information related to the license in accordance with the request, and a right mediator which generates and transmits to the sink system a second right token usable in the sink system on the basis of the first right token. The sink system provides the license for the content on the basis of the second right token.
