<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for reducing tire weight and rolling resistance, without reducing run-flat durability. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire includes: a carcass composed of a carcass ply 5 having a body part 5a extending in a toroidal shape between bead cores 4 in respective bead parts and a folding-back part 5b folded back around the bead cores 4; a belt 6 arranged on the outer peripheral side of a crown area of the carcass and composed of a cord crossing belt layer; and a reinforcing rubber 10 arranged inside in the tire width direction of the carcass in a part corresponding to at least a sidewall part and having a cross-sectional shape of forming a crescent shape, and is characterized in that a plurality of cords for constituting the carcass ply 5 are composed of polyester fiber, and one or more of reinforcing cord layers 12 are arranged outside in the tire width direction of the carcass in at least a tire maximum width position, and the reinforcing cord layers 12 are formed by intertwisting a plurality of cords different in a fiber kind, and thermal contraction stress at 177°C is 0.12-0.50cN/dtex. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
