<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Z source boost circuit capable of preventing the degradation of efficiency due to loss caused before and after a short-circuiting operation. <P>SOLUTION: The Z source boost circuit 1 includes a Z source circuit 11 and a switching circuit connected to the output side of the Z source circuit 11. The circuit includes an auxiliary capacitor 6 provided in parallel between the Z source circuit 11 and the switching circuit, a transformer 4 whose primary winding is either of reactors 27, 28, and an auxiliary switch 5. One end of the secondary winding of the transformer 4 is connected to one end of the auxiliary capacitor 6, the other end of the secondary winding is connected to one end of the auxiliary switch 5, and the other end of the auxiliary switch 5 is connected to the other end of the auxiliary capacitor 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
