<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using granular iron, which enables agglomeration without conducting pulverization and the like as pre-treatment, can use the same facility as an existing facility using a raw material to be charged into a converter of scrap, granular iron with a grain size of more than 7 mm or the like, and can charge a sufficient amount of a raw material into the converter. <P>SOLUTION: The method for using the granular iron includes: kneading 20-80 mass% of granular iron (A) with the grain size of 7 mm or less and 80-20 mass% of steel-making dust (B) (where (A)+(B)=100 mass%) and agglomerating the mixture; and then charging the obtained agglomerate into the converter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
