<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus and a medical image display apparatus, capable of automatically forming cross-sectional images needed for diagnostic reading just by picking up three-dimensional medical images and performing accurate and quick diagnosing. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image diagnostic apparatus includes: a specifying unit 52 for specifying the arbitrary cross section of a model image as a specified cross section; an operation unit 56 for computing the correlation parameter of the feature point of the model image and the specified cross section; an extraction unit 62 for extracting a feature point from the three-dimensional medical image for which the inside of a subject corresponding to the model image is picked up; and a generation unit 64 for generating the cross-sectional image of the three-dimensional medical image corresponding to the specified cross section from the relation of the extracted feature point and the computed correlation parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
