<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis technology for nondestructively and noncontactly analyzing a changing process of various chemical reactions progressing in a test object, and identifying a property of the test object based on an analysis result. <P>SOLUTION: An analysis device 10 includes an electromagnetic wave generator 11 for irradiating the test object T with a pulse electromagnetic wave PW at a frequency in a terahertz range, a reflection wave detector 12 for detecting a reflection wave RW emitted from the electromagnetic wave generator 11 and reflected by the test object T, a transmission wave detector 13 for detecting a transmission wave TW transmitted through the test object T, and a data processor 14 for recording and calculating detection data transmitted from the reflection wave detector 12 and the transmission wave detector 13.
