PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fender-monitoring apparatus capable of monitoring displacement of a fender when landing or docking to a pier of mooring facilities, while the displacement state of the fender, the docking angle, the docking velocity of a ship, etc. can be monitored at a remote location such as an administration building. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for monitoring displacements etc. of the fender 2 installed to the mooring facilities at the time when a ship reaches the pier is configured in such a way that: a plurality of locations of the fender 2 are provided with reflecting means for reflecting a laser beam; that the mooring facilities such as a quay wall, a pier, or a dolphin are provided with a laser distance sensor 11 for transmitting the laser beam toward the reflecting means and receiving it; and that the administration building 3 is provided with an arithmetic processing means 13 for receiving input of distance information from the laser distance sensor 11 via a communication means 12 and computing the displacement etc. of the fender 2.
