PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet delivering apparatus which reduces the amount of use of a liquid body such as ink in moisture retention of a liquid droplet delivering head, and in which the liquid body is hardly clogged in a liquid body discharging passage. SOLUTION: The liquid droplet delivering apparatus equipped with a suction unit for sucking the liquid body in the liquid droplet delivering head, includes: a cap part 80 for covering a nozzle 30 of the liquid droplet delivering head 28 and capable of coming into contact with the liquid droplet delivering head 28; a suction pump 90 for sucking the inside of the cap part 80; a suction pipe 83 for connecting the cap part 80 and the suction pump 90; and a three-way valve 85 provided in the suction pipe 83, intercepting a passage between the cap part 80 and the suction pump 90, and introducing atmospheric air into the suction pipe 83. By switching the three-way valve 85, the liquid body is stored in a passage on the cap part 80 side from the three-way valve 85, and the liquid body in the passage on the suction pump 90 side is discharged from the three-way valve 85.
