PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical ammunition container capable of alleviating burning reaction of ammunition while maintaining strength of the container. SOLUTION: The cylindrical ammunition container 10 is constituted by jointing a lid body 12 to an opening end of a container body 11 having a bottomed cylindrical shape, and the ammunition 13 is loaded inside. A cylindrical part 14 of the container body 11 includes a spiral joint part 15. Notches 16 are provided in a position preventing interference with the joint part 15 at least on one of an outer peripheral face 14a and an inner peripheral face 14b of the cylindrical part 14, and a ratio of the depth d of the notch 16 to the thickness t of the cylindrical part 14 is set to be 0.10-0.95.
