PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool having an attaching structure of a ferrite core, which hardly receives effect of an impact arising during a dropping. SOLUTION: In the power tool 1 having a motor 2, a housing (6a, 6b, 6c) which accommodates the motor 2 and has a cylindrical body extending forward and rearward and a power transmitting part 25 for rotating an end tool, the tubular ferrite core 5 is provided through which a wiring 4a for supplying an electric current to the motor 2 passes and holding ribs 30a to 30c are provided for holding an outer peripheral part of the ferrite core 5 through which the wiring 4a passes. The holding ribs 30a to 30c are extended from a side wall inside the housing and formed integrally with the housing. The housing can be divided to a right and left sides by a vertical plane including a rotating shaft of the motor.
