PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: countermeasure of miniaturization is required because a desktop of a teller window is narrow and has a problem in an installation space even though a scanner for reading the certificate is installed at the teller window of a bank office etc.; and a pattern indicated in the certificate can be read only as it is, while there is no means for erasing a needless pattern in a conventional scanner. SOLUTION: A scanner function is attached to an LCD in order to secure a space on the desktop by installing a liquid crystal panel attached with an optical sensor on the LCD which is reliably used in a banking operation. Thus, a space for the scanner which is installed on the desktop can be secured. Moreover, the same color as the needless pattern of the certificate can be dropped out by scanning while emitting the same color from the LCD, then data acquisition of the certificate can be possible in a state in which the needless pattern is erased.
