PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing aluminum-containing silicon particles with high crushing efficiency. SOLUTION: The method for producing silicon particles includes a pretreatment step of heating aluminum-containing silicon lumps to a temperature of≥600°C and a crushing step of crushing the silicon lumps while being held at a temperature of≥600°C to obtain silicon particles.
