PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for food products which hardly causes molding failure such as sink marks or thickness lack, and to provide a molding device. SOLUTION: The mold having one mold on which the primary molding surface for forming a part of a molding space is disposed, and the other mold on which a second molding surface for forming the molding space together with a first molding surface is disposed, has mutually narrow abutment surfaces on the edge of the first molding surface and the second molding surface, disposing the abutment surfaces on the edge portions of projecting portions projecting on the surfaces, on bottom portions along the inner peripheral walls of fitting dent portions dented on the surface portions, or on the edge portions of molding surfaces continuously changed from the projecting portions to the fitting dent portions, forming the side walls of the projecting portions at angles tapered toward the ends, disposing inclined surfaces capable of being in tight abutment with the side walls on the inner peripheral walls of the dent portions, and forming the abutment surfaces of one mold and the abutment surfaces of the other mold so that the side walls of the projecting portions may come into an approximately tight contact with the inclined surface of the dent portions when the abutment surfaces of one mold come into abutment with the abutment surfaces of the other mold.
