<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further simply use a circuit for a color tandem in a monochrome 2-beam system. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes four systems, each system including: a DMA processing part for obtaining image data; a smoothing processing part for resolution-converting the image data using a line buffer; and a PWM processing part outputting pulse signals to a printing engine. The first and third smoothing processing parts store the image data of lines to be printed, subjected to processing by the first and third DMA processing parts in the first and third line buffers, and output the image data to the processing parts of the rear stage after the smoothing processing. The first and third PWM processing parts output the pulse signals to the printing engine respectively, based on the image data of the lines to be printed, subjected to processing by the first and third smoothing processing parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
