<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high pressure pump which suppresses operational malfunction and can highly accurately control a discharge amount. <P>SOLUTION: A housing body 11 includes: a pressurizing chamber 113 in which fuel is pressurized; a cylindrical passage wall face 152 forming a passage 151 leading the fuel into the pressurizing chamber 113; a locking groove 153 recessed in a radially outside direction of the passage wall face 152; and an annular wall face 154 extended between the locking groove 153 and the pressurizing chamber 113 in a radial direction of a passage wall face 152 and formed to be approximately annular. A valve body 30 has a valve seat 34 disposed to a wall face on a pressurizing chamber 113 side. The valve member 40 seats on or is separated from the valve seat 34 to cut off or flow the fuel flowing through the passage 151. A locking member 60 is fitted in the locking groove 153 and abuts on the valve body 30 to lock the valve body 30. A leaf spring 80 is formed to be approximately annular, is disposed between the valve body 30 and the annular wall face 154, and is elastically deformed in an axial direction to press the valve body 30 against the locking member 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
