<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device superior in both of sealability and wear resistance in regard to the sealing device sealing a gap between two members functioning such that a shaft member and a passage member surrounding its outer periphery relatively reciprocate. <P>SOLUTION: A cut surface of an annular body 71b comprising one part of a rod packing (the sealing device) has a form of projecting one part of a face (a sliding face) S abutting on an outer peripheral surface of a piston (a rod part) toward the outer peripheral surface of the rod part of rectangular shapes with thickness direction lengths of a size H and radial lengths of a size T. A projection formed on the sliding face S has a slope S2 and a slope S3 of different tilt angles on both of its skirts. Of both side walls of an annular groove attached with the annular body 71b, a chamfering part (a slope) S4 is formed on a boundary of the sliding face S and a side face (an atmosphere side face) W of the annular body 71b facing the side wall hitting an opening end side of a hydraulic cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
