<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of performing duty cycle correction of an input signal having a non-uniform duty cycle. <P>SOLUTION: An input signal having a non-uniform duty cycle is inputted to a capacitor degenerating differential couple circuit and in both terminals of one or more capacitors in the circuit, a DC voltage representative of a difference in duration between positive and negative portions of the input signal duty cycle is formed. An output signal having a duty cycle is formed through a switching action of the differential couple circuit, whereby durations of positive and negative portions of the output signal duty cycle are defined by crossover points between the input signal and a switching level. The signal (and the switching level) are adjusted, if necessary, until the output signal duty cycle is at least substantially uniform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
