PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new carboxamide derivative developing effective fungicidal activity at a low application amount. SOLUTION: There are provided the new silylated carboxamide expressed by formula (I), a method for producing the carboxamide and its use for repelling undesired microorganisms. In the formula, R is hydrogen, fluorine or the like; L is direct bond, straight-chain alkylene, branched-chain alkylene or the like; R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each methyl or the like; R<SP>4</SP>is hydrogen or the like; and A is 2-substituted phenyl, 3-substituted thienyl or the like.
