PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe and a steel pipe pile which improves stable durability and attains excellent workability to shorten a construction period, and to provide a manufacturing method for the steel pipe. SOLUTION: A steel pipe body 7 can be strengthened with a lining 8 made of cast iron or cast steel, facilitating improvement of the durability of an upper pile 3 and also eliminating the need for thickening the thickness of the steel pipe body 7, with a steel pipe pile foundation 1 constructed economically. Furthermore, the lining 8 is formed in a factory to make the upper pile 3, forming a stable quality lining 8 without accepting geographical and weather conditions on the construction site where the steel pipe pile foundation 1 is constructed. As compared with a construction method where concrete is filled, a working process on the construction site can be reduced to shorten the construction period. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
