PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source searching apparatus or the like capable of efficiently executing abnormal noise search. SOLUTION: The sound source searching apparatus includes: a processor which executes a program; a memory which stores the program to be executed by the processor; and interface connected to the processor. The apparatus searches for a sound source of sound, and includes: a sound input unit in which a signal of the sound is input; a sound source direction estimation unit which estimates a direction of the sound source on the basis of a position of the sound input unit when the signal of the sound is input based on the input signal of the sound; a direction reliability determiner which determines levels of reliability of estimation by the sound source direction estimation unit; and a sound source searching unit which determines that there is the sound source in the estimated direction of the sound source when it is determined that the reliability is high, and estimates the direction of the sound source by an estimation method different from that of the sound source direction estimation unit when it is determined that the reliability is low.
