Said air conditioner is provided with a high outside air temperature oil return operation means (43) which forcibly performs the oil return operation via the oil return operation control unit (40) when the outside air temperature rises and the state in which the value detected by an outside air temperature sensor (44) is higher than a set value continues for a predetermined period of time, and prohibits the oil return operation for a given period of time after the oil return operation was forcibly performed by the high outside air temperature oil return operation means (43).
