METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LOADING MEDICAL APPLICANCE WITH DRUGS AND/OR POLYMERS

A method for loading a medical appliance with drugs and/or polymers comprises the following steps: (1)acquiring images of the grooves or holes on the medical appliance for multiple times by means of an image acquiring device, each image containing at least one entire graphic (210) of the grooves or holes; (2)performing digital image processing for each image of the groove or hole, and obtaining each graphic(220) of the groove or hole; (3)calculating the central position of each graphic of the groove or hole, and determining the loading position of each groove or hole based on the central position (230); (4) adjusting the relative position of a loading device and the medical appliance to align the outlet of the loading device with the loading position of each groove or hole; (5) loading each groove or hole with drugs and/or polymers (240). A device for loading a medical appliance with drugs and/or polymers is also provided.
