PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air spring permitting safe travel even when air leaks in the air spring. SOLUTION: Laminated rubber 11 formed cylindrically shaped in the vertical direction is fixed to a lower face plate 10, and the laminated rubber 11 comprises cylindrical rubber 11a and an intermediate plate 11b formed in ring shape. A clearance 17 is provided between the intermediate body 12 and the lower face plate 10 to permit the deformation of the laminated rubber 11. The inside of the laminated rubber 11 and a diaphragm 13 fixed to the intermediate body 12 and an upper face plate 14 is filled with gas. An air interception film 20 is arranged on the whole periphery of the inside of the laminated rubber 11. The air interception film 20 may be made of rubber or synthetic resin. When this structure is applied to a vehicle, even if the cylindrical rubber 11a and the intermediate plate 11b are damaged during travel, the air leakage does not occur owing to the air interception film 20 to permit the safe travel of the vehicle.
