PURPOSE: A UI providing method based on a single touch pressure and an electronic device applying the same are provided to offer various UI on the basis of the pressure of a touch controlled by a user on a touch screen. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(110) is input a user command. A communication unit(120) communicates with an external device and/or an external network. An audio/vibration output unit(140) outputs audio and vibration. A control unit(130) provides a UI(User Interface) through the touch screen and controls the display operation of the touch screen, the communication operation/setup of the communication unit, and the output operation/setup of the audio/vibration output unit according to the user command.
