Guide and setting device for fixing elements

The guiding- and setting device has a hollow guide piece and a stamp arranged in axially adjustable manner within the guide piece and holding elements to be clamped towards the longitudinal axis of the stamp and the guide piece and adjustably guided perpendicular to the stamp. The holding elements are controlled due to the axial feed motion of the stamp. The joining element is movable in the axial direction at the holding elements. The holding elements are opened based on the axial feed motion of the stamp and the element is movable over the holding elements. An independent claim is also included for a method for wringing an element at a sheet metal part.
