PURPOSE: A high power LED using a light emitting diode is provided to scatter light emitted from an LED with a small number of LEDs, thereby generating light of high brightness. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of high brightness light emitting diodes is adjacent each other on a printed circuit board to form a light emitting unit(2). A heat conduction preventing unit(5) is located on the bottom of a light emitting unit and prevents reverse flow of heat from a heat emitting unit(10). A thermoelectric element plate absorbs heat generated from the light emitting unit and discharges the heat toward the heat emitting unit. The heat emitting unit is located on the bottom of the thermoelectric element plate and emits heat absorbed by the thermoelectric element plate to the outside. A temperature control device(14) cools the heat emitting unit naturally if the temperature of the heat emitting unit is heated at a temperature higher than a fixed temperature.
