<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication print system, adapted so that when a transmitter performs authentication print, that effect is reported to a receiver, and when the receiver outputs authentication print data therefor, the output is executed while authenticating the receiver. <P>SOLUTION: In the authentication print system, a PC 6 transmits print data to a printer while assigning the UID and mail address of a cellular phone to the header thereof, and the printer stores the UID and mail address in association with the print data, and forms and transmits an e-mail based on the association information to the cellular phone. When a cellular phone user that is the transmitting destination holds the cellular phone over a reader of the printer, the printer acquires the UID to perform authentication, and outputs the print data based on the authentication result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
