Centrifugal pump assembly

The assembly has a wheel and an axle bearing i.e. frictional bearing, that includes a self-aligned rotary bearing part (50) and a self-aligned fixed bearing part. The axle bearing is positioned at a drive shaft (6) and is spaced from axial ends of the drive shaft and/or closer to an axle unit of the drive shaft. A rotor (46) of electrical drive motors e.g. scanned motors, and the wheel are arranged on the drive shaft, and the axial bearing is positioned in an axial direction between the rotor and the wheel. The axial bearing is positioned in a pressure side of the wheel.
