PURPOSE: A method of closing a gas valve in times of fire is provided to prevent inconvenience of gas usage in normal houses by blocking the valves of neighboring houses from becoming closed if fire is not spread to the neighboring houses. CONSTITUTION: A method of closing a gas valve in times of fire comprises next steps. House numbers are selected successively(S301). The house corresponding to the selected house number is selected(S302). The present temperature of the selected house is compared with a predetermined temperature(S303). If the present temperature of the selected house is below the predetermined, the sequential selection of the house number is repeated. If the present temperature of the selected house is over the predetermined temperature, the closing of a first valve is determined(S306).
