CONSTITUTION: A megastigmane derivative or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is denoted by chemical formula 1 or 2. A method for preparing the megastigmane derivative comprises: a step of adding water, organic solvent, or mixture solvent thereof to Ilex paraguariensis to prepare Ilex paraguariensis extract; a step of fractioning the Ilex paraguariensis extract with n-hexane and ethyl acetate to prepare an Ilex paraguariensis fraction; and a step of performing column chromatography.
