<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage tank of a hot water supply device of high usability, enduring positive pressure, negative pressure and repeated pressure, and costwise advantageous without substantially changing a body constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In this hot water storage tank of the hot water supply device, which stores hot water, is provided with roughly semispherical upper plate 14 and lower plate 16 on an upper part and a lower part of a roughly cylindrical shell plate 15, has the elliptical longitudinal cross-sectional shape on top sections of the upper plate 14 and the lower plate 16, and also has a constitution of integrally forming or connecting pipe connecting sections 14d, 14e, 14f, 16d, 16e, 16f disposed on the upper plate 14 and/or lower plate 16 in the normal direction of the elliptical faces of the upper plate 14 and/or the lower plate 16. Since the pipe connecting sections are disposed in the normal direction in repeated pressurization and depressurization, a stress is reduced, cracking on the pipe connecting sections is prevented, the hot water storage tank of high durability is provided, and the quality is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
