<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing burden when presuming a magnetic pole position in a controlling device 1 of a synchronous motor 2. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic pole position presuming portion 24 presumes the magnetic pole position based on the outer-product of voltage vectors for presumption (vhα*, vhβ*) and current vectors for presumption (ihα, ihβ). Here, positive/negative of a voltage phase θV (displacement amount in the supplying direction of the voltage for presumption to a true magnetic pole position) can be presumed from the positive/negative of the outer-product V×I. Also, the outer product V×I can be calculated by simple four arithmetic operations using α/β axis components vhα*, vhβ* and ihα, ihβ. Therefore, the magnetic pole position can be presumed using the outer product V×I, which can be calculated by the simple four arithmetic operations. As a result, the processing burden of the controlling device 1 can be reduced, because the frequency of using the trigonometric function, the inverse trigonometric function, and the like can be lowered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
