PURPOSE: A stylus pen is provided to enable a user to feel the best touch sensitivity and maintain the touch sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A stylus pen(1) comprises a pen shaped body(10) and a static charge absorber(20). The static charge absorber is composed of materials of which the dielectric constant is more than 1. If the stylus pen approaches a touch panel(2), virtual capacitance(3a) is formed between the static charge absorber and the touch panel. Virtual capacitance(3b,3c) is formed between the touch panel and the circumference of the mounting portion of the static charge absorber. Electrostatic capacity is extended by the capacitance.
