PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cosmetic composition containing coating vitamin C is provided to enhance preservation time of vitamin C and to suppress side reactions. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a cosmetic composition comprises: a step of coating vitamin C powder with 80-120 meshes of carnauba wax or olive wax for 40-80 minutes; a step of cooling at 30-50°C to prepare coated vitamin C; and a step of adding the coated vitamin C to a cosmetic base. The carnauba wax or olive wax is contained in 20-40 weight% based on total weight of the coated vitamin C. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of ointment, lip gloss, lipstick, skin cover, foundation, eye shadow, cheek color, or eyebrow pencil.
