In case time before collision approximates to presser time t2 (t1>t2), seat electronic control unit triggers off safety belt drive. Besides, when time t2 to collision is reached, or time t3 (t1>t2>t3) whereat safety belt drive is activated, to start applying preset safety belt tensioning force, said electronic unit stops safety belt drive.
